March Wallpaper

 

Space Shuttle Discovery takes off from the Kennedy Space Center for the final time on February 24, 2011.

This month’s wallpaper is from my shoot last month of Discovery’s last launch.  STS-133 is set to return in a few days and may end up passing over Texas. We will have to wait and see. This shot was taken with a remote camera from about a 2200 feet from the pad that had been set out about 36 hours before the launch.
