Crystal Cross – Year40

Lightpainting is accomplished by building up the image in the complete dark a bit at a time.  Long exposures give you time to work on the image but often requires lighting the image in sections with different lights or with different lighting attachments.  Here I used a custom fiber optic attachment to the Streamlight Stylus to focus light on the etching on the base.

Treasured Trolls – #Year40

I made my first trip to fellowship with Waco’s Church Under the Bridge with some students from Perspectives.  The congregation, founded by Mission Waco’s Jimmy Dorrell, proudly call themselves Trolls. Since I was there to fellowship and not to document the experience, I only took a couple of photographs while in my seat.   Here the congregation comes up to get the elements of communion.
