[A] couple of people asked about where my photos from the launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis have appeared in print or online, so I decided to make it easy to find. The paper I was shooting for was The Daily News in Galveston, Texas. Since the Johnson Space Center is located in their circulation area, they have a strong interest in covering NASA.

So you want to shoot a shuttle launch…

[T]here is only one shuttle launch left before the program retires and you want to shoot it. Well, I am here to give you a couple of pointers from what I learned covering the launch of the Discovery in February. March Wallpaper
This month’s wallpaper is from my shoot last month of Discovery’s last launch. STS-133 is set to return in a few days and may end up passing over Texas. We will have to wait and see. This shot was taken with a remote camera from about a 2200 feet from the pad that had been set out about 36 hours before the launch.
