My view at the moment: the V.A.B. through a rain-streaked car window

The official weather forecast for the planned launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis tomorrow only gives it 3 chances in 10.   The Space Shuttle Launch Criteria fills about 4 pages but just looking outside right now I can say that they are not being met right now.

So I am sitting and drying off from setting out cameras this morning.  Well make that camera.  I pulled one after I had it setup because it was malfunctioning. Doesn’t seem like such a bad thing now.

And for those following along, we just entered a Phase II Lightning Condition as I just saw it flash behind the barely visible V.A.B.

I can say there will be a 100 percent chance of me getting wet if I attempt to go get some lunch.  Think I will wait a bit.
